Insurance
-
We accept most major insurances and will file your claim for you with your insurance company.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT MEDICAID or MEDICARE.
-
Your insurance can still be used like normal. The difference is our office has not signed any contracts with any company to be in network.
-
Working with an out-of-network provider means that coverage is slightly different than working with an in-network provider. For example, your benefits may cover half of the procedure out-of-network rather than full coverage with an in-network provider.
-
No, our office will process the claim and contact your insurance as a courtesy prior to the start of treatment to determine benefits and estimated expectations for coverage and payment.
Payment-in-Full Prior to Treatment Policy
At Rosander Family Dentistry, we believe patients should have a clear understanding of treatment costs before care is provided. To simplify the financial process and minimize unexpected balances, payment is due in full at the time services are rendered.
Our Commitment to Transparency
Payment Prior to Treatment
Patients are responsible for payment of all fees associated with scheduled treatment on the day services are provided. Payment may be made using cash, check, credit card, debit card, or approved financing options.
For patients using dental insurance, payment is collected based on the full fee of treatment regardless of anticipated insurance reimbursement.
Card-on-File Authorization
Patients may elect to maintain a secure payment method on file. Refunds resulting from insurance payments may be returned to the original card used for treatment whenever permitted by the payment processor.
Questions Regarding Financial Arrangements
Our team is happy to discuss treatment fees, financial options, and insurance estimates before treatment begins. We encourage patients to ask questions so they can make informed decisions regarding their dental care.
Insurance Filing
As a courtesy, Rosander Family Dentistry will submit claims to your dental insurance carrier on your behalf. Please call prior to your appointment and provide your insurance information. This will allow us to reach out to your insurance prior to your visit so we can verify your benefits and better estimate a potential refund.
Insurance Benefits
If payment is collected in full at the time of treatment and your insurance company subsequently pays benefits that reduce your financial responsibility, any resulting credit balance will be refunded to you promptly.
Refunds will generally be issued:
-To the original form of payment whenever possible.
-After insurance payment has been received and posted to the account.
-Following verification that no outstanding balances remain on the account.
